Welcome to Park Place Church Co-Op 2026-2027

We are so glad you are going to join us this coming year. On this page, you'll find a few things to fill out to register and pay for your spot in the Co-Op.

To sign up, you need to complete the following items.
  • Must fill out the registration form; it is located at the bottom of this page. Please fill it out completely to the best of your knowledge.
  • Once you have filled out the form, you need to pay. Current Park Place Co-Op families only need to click the Registration Fee and pay that. NEW families need to click Registration Fee and pay that and then click on the Background Check and pay that.

Park Place Co-op Registration

Purpose: To blend Christian community with a family-style learning environment once a week through engaging classes, field trips, and service to our neighbors.

Where: Park Place Church, 13933 Gain St, Oregon City, OR 97045

When: Wednesdays from 9 am to noon (with possible additional middle school and high school classes offered in the afternoon). Our school year runs from September to May.
 
Ages:  Our main classes are offered to students from 3rd grade on up to high school. We have a limited capacity for preschool-2nd grade, and priority will be given to families with students in 3rd grade on up. A wait list will be provided for those who only have students in grades preschool to 2nd grade. Our nursery also has limited capacity. When an age group as been filled to capacity, you will be notified and placed on a waitlist.

*** Note: the form asks for your children's information in separate text boxes. I know it feels like extra typing, but this really helps us quickly set up a class roster :)

Requirements:
1) This is a homeschool cooperative and is only operational with the help of the families involved. This is not a drop-off co-op. A parent will need to remain on campus.

2) Families will be asked to sign up to either teach or co-teach a class or volunteer in a variety of capacities throughout the year.

Cost and Materials: 
A one-time registration fee of $40 (plus fees) per family

$40 Registration Fee Background check fee per adult family member who will be on campus
We are working hard to keep costs at a minimum and are asking $TBD But roughly 300 per family, per year.

A cooperative Amazon Wish List is also established, and each family is strongly encouraged to help meet those practical needs.
 
Particular classes may require a small material fee or a required book, as determined by the teacher.

Statement of Faith:
This is a Bible-based co-op. All of our classes will need to conform to the basic tenets of the Christian faith. We understand that many different faith traditions and denominations might be a part of our co-op. We simply ask that you agree to the historical beliefs of the Christian faith.

Background Check: 
Only parents who have filled out a background check will be allowed to be in the church, and are required to be at the church the whole time, so children will be released to the parent who is there with them during co-op. Background checks are only valid at one church location at a time, so you may have done this at your home church, but will still need to complete this for Park Place Church. Background checks are good for three years, then new background checks will need to be completed.

**If you did the background check last school year with Park Place, it should still be current for this year. Park Place Church office will let you know if you need to fill on out. If you get an email from the church please respond right away as the links are time sensitive.
