Welcome to Park Place Church Co-Op 2026-2027

We are so glad you are going to join us this coming year. On this page, you'll find a few things to fill out to register and pay for your spot in the co-op.

Park Place Co-op Registration

Purpose: To blend Christian community with a family-style learning environment once a week through engaging classes, field trips, and service to our neighbors.

Where: Park Place Church, 13933 Gain St, Oregon City, OR 97045

When: Wednesdays from 9 am to noon. Our school year runs from September to May.
 
Ages:  Our main classes are offered to students from 3rd grade on up to high school. We have limited capacity for preschool through 2nd grade, and priority will be given to families with students in 3rd grade and up. A wait list will be provided for those who have only students in preschool through 2nd grade. Our nursery also has limited capacity. When an age group is at capacity, you will be notified and placed on a waitlist.

Cost: $350 per year, per family.

*** Note: the form asks for your children's information in separate text boxes. I know it feels like extra typing, but this really helps us quickly set up a class roster :) 

Requirements:
1) This is a homeschool cooperative and is only operational with the help of the families involved. This is not a drop-off co-op. A parent will need to remain on campus.

2) Families will be asked to sign up to either teach or co-teach a class or volunteer in a variety of capacities throughout the year.

Cost and Materials: 
 
$350 per family, per year.
 
Particular classes may require a small material fee or a required book, as determined by the teacher.

Statement of Faith:
This is a Bible-based co-op. All of our classes will need to conform to the basic tenets of the Christian faith. We understand that many different faith traditions and denominations might be a part of our co-op. We simply ask that you agree to the historical beliefs of the Christian faith and to the Park Place Church Statement of Faith: https://parkplace.church/our-beliefs 

Background Check: 
Only parents who have completed a background check will be allowed in the church and are required to stay at the church the whole time, so children will be released to the parent who is there with them during co-op. Background checks are valid for only one church location at a time. If you have already completed a background check at your home church, you will still need to complete one for Park Place Church. Background checks are valid for 3 years.

**Park Place Church office will inform you when a new background check is needed. If you get an email from the church, please respond right away, as the links are time-sensitive. 

Protect My Ministry: 
The Park Place Church office will contact you if you need to complete this training, which is required every other year.

Personal Belongings
Park Place Church is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.

Photo Release
I understand that my child’s image may be photographed or filmed and used in video presentations and/or printed publications-either digital (online) or paper.

*Please note, the Band app is used by all parents of the co-op. Pictures taken and uploaded to Band are not official Park Place Church pictures and will not be used without first obtaining permission from parents. 

Release

I hereby take the following action for my child, myself, my executors, administrators, heir, next of kin, successors and assigns: A) I waive, release, and discharge from any and all claims or liabilities for death or personal injury damages of any kind, which arise out of or relate to my child’s participation in Park Place Church’s Co-Op activities, the following person, or entities: Park Place Church, it’s Senior Pastor and Associate Pastors, Trustees, Church Council, employees, volunteers, representatives, subcontractors and agents of any of the above: B) I agree not to sue any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any of the claims or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged herein except in the case of gross negligence on the part of Park Place Church, Park Place Church Staff or volunteers and: C) I indemnify and hold harmless the person or entities mentioned above from any claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my student’s actions. I hereby assume the risks associated with my child's participation in all Park Place Church Co-Op activities.

The undersigned (parent/guardian), the parent and natural guardian or legal guardian of the undersigned (student’s name) hereby executes this document for and on behalf of the student named herein. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the person or entities mentioned above for any claims or liabilities assessed against them as a result of any insufficiency of my legal capacity or authority to act for and on behalf of the student in the execution of the Wavier and Release.
